Takao Ald is an assistant professor of plant science at the Wageningen Plant Research. Her research interests include indoor gardening, plant physiology and biotechnology. She leads the Indoor Garden Lab, which develops novel methods and technologies for growing plants in controlled environments, such as vertical farming, hydroponics and aeroponics.
